This is a support group for those who have a loved one or spouse who has been diagnosed with or showing symptoms of schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. My husband was diagnosed only 1 year after our wedding. We’ve been married for 5 years now and, with a lot of work and effort, we’ve come a long way and never thought it was possible to succeed with this condition. We’re still learning how to navigate and cope, and each day presents a new challenge. With a support group, perhaps we can share or swap stories, answer questions, offer support, guidance, and advice. Or just be here to watch and observe. I want others to know there is hope and there is a way.
