LET'S TALK ABOUT SAVING LIVES!

Why Tattoo Artists Are Essential to Our Movement

Tattoo artists play a unique role in our mission to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention. The semicolon tattoo has become a global symbol of hope and resilience, a reminder that someone’s story isn’t over. As artists, you transform this simple symbol into something deeply personal, creating a lasting message of strength and solidarity. Your craft not only inspires but also fosters healing, making you natural allies in our movement to spark meaningful conversations and save lives. Together, we can make mental health visible in every community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a minimal time requirement?

Our goal is to build a network large enough to sustain if each member signed on once a week, and helped one person, however, we understand that that’s not always possible. We ask that you help whenever you can.

The network is divided into two groups: Mental Health Professionals, and Peer Supporters. The requirements vary for both groups. Mental Health Professionals are verified, but will not be required to complete the short training course. Peer supporters are also verified, but will also need to complete a course that aims to equip you with the tools needed to successfully assist others.

Members of the network are private, and cannot be contacted by users using the features of the platform. The connections are not through your native computer or phone services. The connections are happening within the site meaning, your phone number and email are always private. The only information available to users will be Name, License # (for mental health professionals) and basic information about your areas of training. Peer supporters have similar privacy setting.

Peer Supporter members of the network are required to complete a short training course, and ongoing training to maintain a level of quality within the network.

Members of the network are allowed to engage users about services outside the network if they feel the users will benefit from a more traditional approach.

In most cases Mental Health Professionals are verified within 24 hours. Peer Supports will be approved after they complete the required course and are verified. The timeline depends on hoe long it takes you to complete the course.

This network is not a crisis line, in fact, we are required to offer information to 911, and other emergency services if someone is in crisis. The network is for those needing advice and someone to talk to.
