The concept in it’s current stage doesn’t allow for charging individuals for sessions, however, we have no guidelines about future client relationships that you build with our community members.
How often do I need to help someone?You can login whenever you want and help someone in your licensed state. We’re asking you to help us, so if that’s once a month or several times a week, we appreciate your commitment to saving lives.
Can I offer insurance information to members?Yes! We encourage that, and have added that as a question on the request submission that you receive from members. They are asked, “Do you want your provider to share information about insurance coverage in your state?”
I can only practice in my state, will members outside my state contact me?No. The provider search functionality takes into account your licensed state, and only shows your profile to members in the same state.
I’m licensed in multiple states, can I add them all?Yes. You’ll be able to add all states that you’re licensed in.
How are the sessions conducted?There are 2 connection types. Text and Video sessions. Both users and providers are able to select forms of connecting that they’re comfortable with. User search perimeters take into account these choices.
Can users directly contact providers without approval?No. Sessions can only be initiated by providers who accept member requests.
Is this service for other countries?Currently, this service is only available for those in the United States. We understand that our members are all over the world, so we are working through the complications of making it available worldwide.
Is there an age requirement for members?Yes. members must be 18 or have a parent present to enter a session. Members are asked about this prior to sending the request.
