Mild Loneliness

You are experiencing mild or occasional loneliness. We all feel lonely, and when we do, there are always people we can turn to for support and emotional connection. You have that and know when you can lean on others for social support. You have genuine and meaningful relationships in your life, and you often feel comfortable with them. However, there are times when you do feel lonely, but that’s OK.

Here are some ways you can chase your mild loneliness away:
  • Find new hobbies. Figure out activities you feel passionate about. Finding hobbies where you can learn something new and find new connections can help you chase away loneliness.
  • Reach out to your loved ones. There’s no harm in checking in with your loved ones. A quick text or a call can make you feel happy and can strengthen your connections, chasing away feelings of isolation.
  • Meet new people..If you want to feel emotionally and socially connected, then you can attend events or volunteer. These activities can help you open up to new experiences and build connections with like-minded people.
