After losing my husband to suicide, I desperately sought out information to better understand what I had possibly missed. It was hard to reconcile the man I knew with the reality I was faced with. I didn't know about the Semicolon Project until I began researching suicide but, I've since gotten the tattoo in memory of David and in support of all those experiencing mental illness. Thank you to this project for helping with the cost of home repairs when I needed it so desperately. Thank you for being there.

As a parent we often find a million ways to worry about the safety of our children but, I hadn't considered that my daughter would be of harm to herself. Project Semicolon's website was a great resource for understanding what she was experiencing and, It helped me let go of the guilt I held for not noticing any signs. Semicolon Helps funded our initiative at Hannah's school to bring awareness, and support her friends who were hurting as well. I'm full of gratitude for the overwhelming support that they offered us.
